B.E.S.T. Mathematics Coaches

The Florida Department of Education is proud to introduce the B.E.S.T. Mathematics Coaches, a new statewide resource dedicated to strengthening mathematics instruction and improving student outcomes. These coaches are grounded in Florida’s Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards for Mathematics and Florida’s Formula for Success, ensuring that every district, school and teacher has access to benchmarks-aligned, high-quality instructional support.

To help your schools and teachers, the B.E.S.T. Mathematics Director and Coaches can provide the following support.

• In-person school visits
• One-on-One Coaching
• Support with B.E.S.T. Standards implementation
• Partnering with Consortiums to provide addition support
• Conducting mathematics Professional Learning opportunities
